So I bought taht domain name. Then I read the fine print on Google about not having their name is urls. I've already contacted Google about using the URL. Do you think it will be an issue? I mean I see adsense in URL's all the time.

This is what Google says about domains:

    That is posted here: http://www.google.com/permissions/guidelines.html

Now. "CommonAdsense", a take off on Common Sense, is not a registered trademark. However "Adsense" is. I wonder if it will be a problem. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

    Ok....I just found this http://www.adsensechat.com

If Joel Comm can have a site with that domain name then I can have mine...

    He's using adsense there too...

I guess if I see someone shooting a guy, then I can shoot someone too.

Joel Comm probably has permission from Google to maintain that site. Perhaps
you can ask Google if you really wish to be able to keep yours.

    Otherwise, don't count on it.

It depends what you're using the domain for. "Ad Sense" consists of two words in the English Language. If you are using it as a place to promote talk about good advertising policies and strategies and not as a program to sell advertising like Google's Adsense program, I think they would be very hard pressed to prevent you from using it, no matter what their overpriced lawyers may or may not send you. That said, it would still be difficult to fight them to use Adsense. And IMHO, you'll do better with another ad program like Yahoo or the dozens of others listed here.
