Commission on Third Party Sites?

    Hi

I used to think that Amazon gives referral fees for items sold by third party sellers in their site. But upon a read on the help page I found that:

So this means product like this guitar which says "Availability: In Stock. Ships from and sold by Austin Bazaar." is not eligible for commission since it's not sold by Amazon?

Can anybody clear this for me as I don't quite understand Amazon wording.

No, that is incorrect. I receive commissions all the time from 3rd parties on Amazon.com and there for a time were the primary source of income with Amazon. You will notice in your reports where the commission is coming from, whether Amazon direct or it will name the seller next to the item purchased.
