I currently run a price Comparison website (Kaon Softwares Price Comparison Script) and I currently import datafeeds manually which is very time consuming. I signed up for CJ's webservices as I would like to query search results for the merchants that I have "joined" which is not the main issue (I have someone working on integrating it into my site). The issue comes as I have products on my website and when a user browses (lets say for a iPod Touch 32GB which would be in the Electronics-> MP3 player category) I would like it to show not only the products on my site but those on the CJ Merchants site as well. The problem is, when I make a request using SOAP/REST (PHP) CJ does not have a "Category" response. Each merchant has different categories (some have Computers and some have Computer Systems, some have Notebooks/Netbooks, and some have Netbooks in a seperate category). Just need some ideas from those that are currently doing. Am I going it the right way or should I be going a different route. Thanks.
