Commission Junction Under 18 y/o?

I'm 17, in my last year of high school. My mom opened a CJ account before but never used it, however I just went on the other day and found a successful way to bring in commissions. I really want to stay with the program and avoid having to try helping my mom deal with the tax info, but I am not sure what to do.

Do you think I would be ok if I changed the name on the account and put my own SS number in? When they report earnings to the IRS they only report the number right? Or can they see that the SS number is of a minor?

    Thanks

Not sure what their age requirement is, but I don't think they have a way to verify age. Either way, just make sure you file the right tax documentation at the end of the year.

Go for it, just don't tell them.
