Commission Junction Tracking Problems

    Hi,

    I suspect that there are some tracking problems for a few advertisers. Have u experienced problems? nearly 10% of the leads are being missed. :confused:

    I have problems with other networks but this is the first time with CJ :eek:

    How exactly are you figuring that 10% of the leads are being missed, unless you personally witness each transaction yourself? I haven't seen any inconsistencies in the past month.

    The tracking has to be screwed up, I have a site the usually generates around 350 clicks a day and yesterday it had 19 and today 0.

    Somethings wrong.

    Could this be related to the new year? My sites also received less traffic this week (and less clicks therefore)

    sometime some thing strange happen in the CJ tracking. around 2% of my sales with a specific advertiser are not being tracked. I have a way to verify the sales on my own and got all the payment receipts from the buyers.
    SO when i contact with advertiser with missing sale and showing the proof, they simple add commission to my account manually. I asked many times whats the problem with tracking but never got any answer on that.
    I guess some advertisers purposefully remove the 1*1 tracking pixel from their confirmation page for some time to steal the commissions.
    Since i have the way to find the missing sales but normal publisher will never know that he is missing some percentage of sales.
