Does CJ.com have a TID variable like clickbank where I can track what keywords are converting, and where my traffic is coming from either organic or ppc ?

You can use the SID variable to define a sub-id for the transaction. You can only see actual sales made by the SID, but you can't see click/impression/whatever stats broken down by SID.

ok so I just assign anything to the SID variable..

Therefore I can find out where the traffic is coming from rather its organic or ppc?

For example if the traffic came from PPC I could just set a variable called SID=ppc-mykeyword

therefore I can track my sales and find out if the traffic came from PPC or organic search?

Yes, that's correct. I use SIDs in my PPC campaigns to figure out which keywords/ad groups/campaigns/search engines the click came from (for example, I'll set an SID of "google-1-1-2" to tell myself that the click came from a Google campaign, Campaign #1, Ad group #1, keyword #2).

you can't track the traffic actually, only sales/leads that pay, i.e you can know how much sales/leads a source like PPC gave you, but how would u calculate CTR and CR if you use the same link on different ad/site.

i guess you should use different Campaign for PPC, and in that campaign set diffrent keywords as SID

if you want to track traffic from a website, simply create a campaign for it, and insert different links with their SID, so you can track traffic + leads/sales

All PPC ad systems (Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing, etc...) show you the CTR & number of clicks by keyword. By knowing the number of clicks (from the ad system that you're using) and number of conversions (from CJ), you can calculate all of the stats that you need. It's fairly simple.
