Just a FYI for everyone doing affiliate programs through CJ. Not only is their website down, but their tracking servers are also down. So anyone using things like AdWords to drive traffic, might want to disable it because you are paying for the click, but not getting credit on the CJ side. It applies to all CJ based affiliate programs. I think it might be time for them to get some geographically redundant servers if you ask me.
Well cj.com seems to be up for me, but our eBay Editor Kit isn't showing now. Anyone else not getting their eBay editor kits to show? .. the page takes a while to load like it's thinking about it, but no show. Anyone? Has eBay disabled my account?
I think I might have lost $4,500 from my eBay affiliation alone because of the downtime. I missed the next tier for active registrations by a fraction of a hair.
So wait, because of the downtime, which was about 8 hours on and off, you lost about $4,500? I've certainly got a ways to go before I come close to making that much from eBay affil, but I definitely like to hear these sort of stats because it gives me a goal to shoot for. Not to mention the motivation it inspires. I can't thank Shawn enough. OK back to work.
Wow Shawn, that's a lot to lose. You must be doing VERY well overall. Wonder how much CJ lost altogether???
He was close to the next Tier, something the couple hours could have pushed him over... If he gets into the next tier, each registration is worth a couple bucks more...
It is alright for you to complain, hey Shawn, but when AC bitches you question him I tell you that they are a bunch of Arses and you told me they were great? Now you see the light when they burn you
Well by my calculations if Shawn has lost $4,500 in an 8 hour period, it is damn well time he sends me a care package or lets me sleep under the Hummer
Right, it has to do with missing a tier by a fraction. I would nee to rank top 5 for "ebay" in order to make 5 million a year from eBay.
