Is anyone running banner and/or text ads on their directory through Commission Junction? What are the best performing ads for a general directory? Mine is www.5business.net (see the buy.com 468x60 banner). I've tried running other ads that might appeal to webmasters etc. Any thoughts are appreciated.
The only success I've ever had with banners is from hosting (HostGator etc...) - which might just work on a directory.... but I doubt it. IMHO banners are really a waste of time unless you have absolutely insane traffic.
