I intend to have a site developed in a months time which I will launch then. In the mean time I was hoping to put up my own one page saying that we are launching soon, a bit contact details and perahp meta tags. Will this one page site do any damage teh site in terms of ranking getting penalised etc etc?
Nope, I have that going on all the sites in my signature. Hubble Prints already hit the first page of Google but I have been doing some pre-emptive SEO in preparation for the launch. Nigel

My business website has been sitting there for a while. I was in the middle of rebranding the business and changing focus a bit when I got really busy all of a sudden. I have a 301 redirect from the old firm. That is likely why it is so high. SEO comprises a lot of my work so I have a range of things pointing there. Cobble together a squidoo lens with some links pointing there. It will do wonders! Nigel
