Greetings, All my life i have dreamt of becoming a pilot. Now this course in India costs around 20lacs or 40k USD. If we are just 10+2 with good percentage in physics and maths we can apply for this course. What do you people say? Due to recession times today, should i take up this course, for that my father is selling our ancestral property. Do you people have any ideas of Pilot life, just share with me. thanks.
well it is sheer stupidity. demand if pilots is not so great that you would sell off yoru ancestral property for that. only 3100 pilots are required, 2900 are available. only 200 pilots are short, for that over a few thousands are training. moreover i believe you just want to be a pilot, if you just want to fly , you can be a student pilot, which should cost no more than 3-5 lacs. rememebr it takes ages to make property, takes days to sell it off. take it only if you are able to afford from your own earned money. if you still want to do it, try to join airforce, they will let you know your real worth.
