Hi DP'ers. I own and run a very successful forum and in the past few months my traffic has gone through the roof (c25,000,000 hits per month)...literally! Naturally I need to capitalize on this turn of events and was wondering if there is a good service somewhere, where I could get a proper appraisal of my site, in terms of advertisement placing, potential etc.. I already run; Google Adsense - VERY successful TribalFusion: Meh, average of 20,000 pageviews with little revenue per day Some affiliate ads: Little or no income If you know of a pro service for this type of consultation then please let me know. Hey Zz, You might consider what I call the Motel Appraoch...?? When motel occupancy excceds a certain percent of the total rooms, they rasie rates. Applying this to ad space...ask what you think is fair...if your sold space exceeds a certain percentage (75-90?...you do the math), then raise rates...inversely, once ads are in place, if your percent goes below a certain percent, lower rates...you charge what the market will bear. Thanks but it's not an evaluation of the website that I'm after, it's an appraisal of the commercial viability of my site. What ads to use, where to put them, extra services to add etc....
