    Hi

    can some tell me that the comments powered by Disqus are good for seo or not? Also please tell me that Google and other search engines count them as a backlink? I checked the html source of the page and the comments are not there.

    I'm not so sure about it, but I think if they use some kind of javascript to handle all comments, then they count as nothing.

    in my opinion this is a bad practice to use Disqus on wordpress for commenting purpose, as when ever you want to shift from one domain to another these comments will not be exported.
