Hello guys, I want to ask one thing that when you are posting comments in blogs "in the name section : enter your keyword will help in serp ?" Please tell me this that should I enter my keywords in name section will help me or not ??thanks
I just wondering that posting my keyword in name section , is this not look like a spam ?? or google crawler will value it ???
To be honest I don't think it does much good... The reason for this is because most blogs have nofollow on all links and the fact that no one has reveled hard proof claiming that it does help.
It helps if done the correct way. We see no follow enabled by default on comments these days, and people are quick to spot keyword spamming in the title and edit/delete the comment. You've have to put in a really genuine comment for it to be approved.
Wordpress has nofollow activated by default and I doubt anyone nowadays will ever risk using a dofollow plugin... (I did it once and the end result was me loosing my Page Rank) Using comments for PR juice is in my humble opinion unpractical, tiresome and very risky.
The problem with this sort of promotion is that no one is really going to sit around for hours writing comments on blogs. They will most probably opt for some time saving approach like spamming. I've done the comment on blog thing before, even downloaded the dofollow blog list, but the truth is that after a few comments it comes rather repetitive.
You need to outsource it to someone. Obviously you cant sit and write comments for your site, but you can definitely hire some cheap labour to do the job effectively. About it being repetitive, we tend to repeat and rinse quite a lot, don't we ?
Having a keyword is better than having the name, but many blog owners might not like it and so, might not approve your comment.
I would recommend that you only do such a thing if and when you have a comment that significantly contributes to the blog post. If you can make a comment that adds value to that particular blog, and is actually relevant, then your comment will most likely be approved and allowed to remain on the blog. Do not use it as an opportunity to spam, that is never good, and will not do you any good.
Even i m confused about the same. Can someone tell me about the avg. cost reqd for blog commenting. if outsourced
Yes, having keywords in your anchor text does help but your comment probably has less chance of being approved because it looks like spam. Most blogs also have the "nofollow" attribute which will stop your page gaining any authority from the blog. Search engines do follow the link but they wont give any "juice" from it. J
It will definitely help but the main concern is whether the blog owner will allow you to do that in the first place. I used to do a lot of blog commenting using keywords but the success rate of getting accepted is usually 1 out of 10.
