If I post comments on a lot of blogs that do not comment back on my blog, does google track that kind of thing, and down on it? With the Panda updates google is valuing social connectivity more, and I am wondering if this is a factor.
If the comments are not spammy and actually related to the content on the site I see no reason why you would be penalised.
Well, if the that blog does not then return the comment on my blog, and if I post on dozens and dozens of blogs that do not comment back on my blog, google may see this as "this blog is not valuable". I don't know, I'm just wondering if that is a known thing.
