    hey everyone,
    I've been lurking on this board for a while now, quietly learning from everyone :)
    I launched my first website this afternoon and have already made $3.33 from Adsense.
    I just wanted to thank all the regular posters here for their expertise. I was a bit hesitant about Adsense but I am so omptimistic now. I'm looking forward to my first $100. :D

    i hope you are not using a friend or someone to clik on your adsense.
    if it is not the case this a really good strat.
    keep it up.
    people take weeks before they have a geniue click.

    I am not clicking my own ads or having friends do it, I'm not silly.

    I got a little over 1000 hits on my site in that first day, which resulted in the $3. the reason is that I have trivia quizzes on my site for the season premiere of Prison Break. I promoted it in Prison Break groups and forums, which drew a lot of people to the site.

    Still, i have only earned another 9 cents since my first post, so i think that initial traffic was a bit of a fluke and now the hard work begins to maintain the traffic. :)
