Hello, Do the backlinks coming from comments (especially comments from blogs) have any weight on our linkbuilding? If there is, is it bigger than the heavy of forum signatures? Or have the same power? Thanks for sharing your opinions.
I think comment posting and forum signature has same weightge for increasing back links. you can also do Article Syndication and Link exchange for increasing back links..
Yes. You can get back link from comments if they are do follow. Do follow blog and forum commenting is a good resource for getting back and traffic both.
When I do blog comments, I look for following in blogs: 1) Allow do-follow link 2) Alexa rank or popularity among community 3) Relevancy 4) PR 5) Comments edited frequently. This will keep irrelevant links away.
As far as in my experience, blog comments are having more weight. Specially niche related blog comments are having more weight in case of SERP.

blog commenting and forum posting with signatures with ur keywords are the best options.. but the main thing is u should work on related sites..
yes dofollow is the key, however there is a lot of talk that comments are going to be significantly discounted in the future. if you want to know if a link is nofollow then look at the source code for the page and find your link (or another comment's) and if the html looks like <a href="blahblah" rel=nofollow>blahblah</a> then it is no follow an easier way is to use seobook's seo for firefox plugin and set nofollow links to be highlighted. for me any link that is nofollow is a solid red block. very easy to see.
I see many people ask for dofollow blogs,or ask for some softwares,but I notice that the posts are commonly some scattered lists,and too many peopel post on them,that's really not good enough.I advise you don't waste your money in these software,too many people are using it,and it is not good enough to handle.

Depends upon where you are commenting and what forum you're on. If there are more outbound links on one page than another with the same PR then the one with the fewer outbound links is best. Take DP for example. If you're posting on a page with tons of peoples links or a huge list of blogs in the thread it's going to have a high outbound link count causing a lesser value towards yours.
When I do blog commenting, I make sure that the blog has a do-follow attribute. PR is not a huge issue to me, being related to my niche is what matter most. If you do blog commenting properly, you'll be amazed of how powerful it is.

I agree, finding do-follow blogs is a great way to approach it. HOWEVER... I don't think you should limit yourself to only posting on dofollow blogs. Just start commenting any blogs you can find within your niche/topic. Make your comments relevent and you might even get some human visitors checking out your link.
