Hi everyone, has anybody tried Payoneer yet? (www.payoneer.com)

I'm a member of a freelance site and we got debit cards from Payoneer. I'm a bit hesitant to activate it because for one, it asks for $3 monthly maintenance, $2.50 for every withdrawal and gee --- get this --- almost $20 just for activation.

I'm still thinking about it. I don't want to completely downplay Payoneer just yet especially since it's a Visa debit card

Well, I was using it for a while. The $3 monthly is common, I am paying about $35 for the ePassporte Debit Card per year so it works out to be about the same. Think of the advantage it would bring to you.

As for the activation, it is to pay for the card.

The Payoneer card works and you can link it with your Paypal account to make purchases from and it seems to be accepted both online and offline almost everywhere I go.

They recently gave me a US$1000 daily withdrawal limit which was great. However, I opted out of it because I just needed a way to withdraw my funds and opted for the Paypal Mass Pay since I got more control over when and how much I want to withdraw my funds.

Oh yes, before I forget, when someone fund your card, say from your affiliates, you need to pay an additional $3 to get the funds in your account which would happen after 3 to 4 days. If you want to expedite the loading, you need to pay $5 for it. So in the end, it does pile up.

If you have another means of receiving funds which is more economical for you then use it.

Hi! The card is really top: it´s is for free. Also the fees are okay. You won´t find any cards usually which don´t have any fees and it is the top option to withdraw from this site. From my experience it is a really great card and even for free.

hi eddy --- thanks a lot! your information's very helpful. i wonder why they have to charge an additional $3 whenever someone funds the card???

hi hellfire --- thanks for the feedback. it really is commendable that the card is given out for "free." is it easy to deposit funds?

Its soo easy to fund it: just go to withdraw option, choose prepaid MC and then you are done. If it is your first withdraw ever it will be delayed for 15 days, otherwise it is ready directly. If you "withdraw" between monday and sunday your funds will be available in your MC latest on tuesday.

    Hope this helps

If you need cheaper cards, get a passport and get a bank account opened with debit card which is included for free.

Though, remember that, VMI cards, epassporte etc. always charge a maintenance fee, and you should not consider them if their fees re lots of. This is the way they are still present.

Of course this is the best option. But in this case it is more eexpensive then having this "special card" directly from them. Also it is much faster so this card is the best option here.
