Comments about my new design

What do you think about my new design?

Which is the best one? What other color can I use that is "Racing"?

 

I mean the 2nd one seems to be more RACING theme as you are talking about with the Checkered Flag for raching being white and black.

But, also you can maybe take into consideration how Motorcross is ran on dirt and maybe mix of some browns into it, or also with racing maybe take into effect "Yellow" for cautions or more importantly "Green" which symboligzes the start of the race.

Yeah most of the people think that the dark one is the best. I will go with it.

 

Yeah the dark one really is the best. The light blue makes racing seem a bit more feminine.

 

Id go with no1... the light blue may be more feminine as it was said but it looks like your trying to hook people with this page...and you can read it first time quickly and everything is more "visible" Isnt that what your trying to achieve?

 

do you mind me asking where you got the template for your training journal site by the way? I like it..

I'd go with the 2nd one, the black one. However I would try to make the header a bit more appealing and the tet area seems dull, try adding a border to it; make it stand out.

I have to go with the majority here and say that design number two is the better looking choice. The only thing I might consider changing is adding some color elsewhere. The motorcycle in the top left would be a good choice for adding more color. I'd look at maybe a nice yellow or red to accent the racing aspects.

 

I actually like the first one the best.
I think you should touch up the motorcycle image a bit. Possibly change the levels of it. That way it won't look like you cut the image out of a magazine.

 

I'd go with the black one as long as you are simply seeking to maximize downloads. Its just a stronger advertisement. If you were developing a working website, I'd consider keeping the blue. Both very nice, btw.

 

Racing? Red, black, light gray.

 

The black one is the best, but you should add some colour though (like red).

 

I like the first one because it is open and lets the text breathe; the dark template contracts the text.

You could also use red of fire yellow, imho.

 

The black one looks better to me, and the text color and logo are easier to be viewed. However, the layout will look much better when you fill the website - let us know when you are done so we check it too

Somebody mentioned using browns to represent dirt from the track, try it!
