I have a question. When someones homepage is lets say pr6. He writes posts - but the posts themselves don't have a pagerank. Now when I comment to that post will it count as pr0 or pr6?

first, the Google pr is updated only a few times per year, the real pr that you see in the toolbar is not the real pr in google's data centers, if the posts stay on the homepage they will probably become pr4's in the next update, if they move the archive they will probably become pr1's or pr2's, sometimes pr0's if the archive is too big.

funkymario, you're absolutely right, since PR bar is updated quarterly you don't see the latest PR, whereas google has the latest pr. I always prefer to comment on PR0 or no PR pages with just a few comments rather than PR5 with 100's of links.

It will count as a PR 0 but after pr update, that page's PR will increase for sure.
