I am slightly confused. You are hoping to get people to comment on your blog and then you will do the same on their blogs?

 

Make your blog comments dofollow and submit to dofollow blogs topsite, This will get you lot of comments.

yup, that discourages people to leave comments on the site. You should make comments open to everyone as sat123 mentioned

Mizaks I will comment on your blog shortly. I just added dofollow....so all you do is comment on other people's blog and it registers your link. Sorry little confused. Or it help others that are commenting on your site?

It benefits the commentors by allowing their url to be followed by search engines...

Use Google blog search to find blogs related to your niche and then comment there, you'll get a lots more comments by this way.

Great suggestion! But, how do you get comments back by ur url? Or do you hope because of good faith they will...

 

You get comments by commenting on others blog only when:

• You're commenting there, not for backlink but for relation building.
• You've read the whole post and your comment contains your honest opinion.
• You're doing constructive criticism.
• You're not harsh in your words.
• Your comment is exhibiting a polite and friendly attitude.
• You're not requesting anyone to visit your blog and have his say.

Besides all this, something you should have on your blog can be as follows:

• Quality Content
• Post inviting others' view on the issue
• Easily understandable theme
• Comments open for all (of course excluding spammers )
• Attractive Titles
• And something that really makes people to have their word on.
