I ran across this script to add a comment section to web pages. They guy claims it's a way to automatically add content to your site so the info looks fresh.

First, do Search Engines really consider comments added to the bottom of a page as part of the content?

Second, are there other scripts available that do the same thing as this one that DP members have tried?

Oh yeah, the link is http://www.niche-mania.com/PRD/Commentator/PK/

Let me assure you I am in no way affiliated with or connected to this site or person. I am considering purchasing to put on my two sites.

    Thanks,
    JHoward

of course comments count as part of the content. haven't you ever stumbled onto a blog or something via google and then discovered that what you searched for was, in reality, triggered by the comments, not the blog itself?

I like comment scripts, personally. it largely depends on the niche of the site though-- on some, people won't really be adding much of anything useful to the discussion / page.

A good commenting script nowadays must be very similar to the facebook commenting system... because it is already an addicting style
