Comment reply question

    Ok, I have a dumb question.

    How would I fill this out so my name will be a clickable link? I mean do I have to use the <href> for my url under name for it to show or just where it says website?

    When some of these comments show up on this blog their actual name is the anchor text. Do they do that in there name or if you put it in the Website link?

    You put your name usually a brand name and then put the url/link in the website filled.

    You don't put any html code in the form - literally just put in the information they request.

    That looks like a wordpress comments box - be aware that the sites are likely to have Akismet turned on and if the site owner doesn't like your comment it could be marked as spam - and every time that happens (and you won't know) it becomes more likely that your next comment will automatically be marked as spam.

    Type your name as usual in the Name field. Then type your website's url in the Website field in this format: http://www.example.com/. When the comment is submitted and approved, your name will be a clickable link to your website. You don't have to include any html tags in the name or website field.

    The html tags are only supported by the text box where you are supposed to type your comment and you can use them within your comment to format text. For example, if you want to highlight a sentence within your comment, you can place the sentence within the <b>... </b> bold tag.
