Hello, At times, I see some webpages with high PR allowing others to comment with a link to their website. I am wondering if those count for PR or if they are simply ignored by Google. If they do count, then, it seems pretty easy to get some links with PR from several pages for free, though, of course, the content will, most of the time, not be relevant. Any answer is highly appreciated.
I counts, this is why so many people spam blogs and which is also why there are so many plugins for spam filters now. Making genuine helpful or insightful comments on relevant blogs to your site's niche is a good way to acquire quality backlinks
OMG. Thanks. I will now go spam a few sites then. Just kidding, but I will keep this in mind when I read blogs. Why not leaving some comments if they are gonna be useful both for me and the blogger?
There are ways of finding the best blogs to leave comments on... but I'll leave you to work that out. A huge number of blogs are protected by akismet so if you spam them you will taint yourself on all other blogs - even the ones you are being genuine on.
