I used the evaluation software for COMMENT KAHUNA, only leaving relevant comments to my niche and the blog I was posting too. 3 months on and I started a new wordpress blog and get an email claiming I've been reported for spamming blogs! This is the only time I used any software to comment on blogs, after this I could not leave comments on wordpress blogs, know I know why. BEFORE anyone says that I "must have spammed", I only left comments 3-4 sentences long that were relevant to the post and NO self promotion! Using my ACTUAL name and linking my url to it so NO juice from it as I wasnt using anchor text. I could understand if I put "good blog" ANCHOR TEXT! Why these comedians reported me, I do not know - so beware if you use Comment Kahuna!
thanks for the advice. Using software like that is certainly risky, I stick to the good old method of writing comments by hand.
I can't understand why people use softwares for these purposes ... backlinks are important but you shouldn't get like so greedy for backlinks that you start using blog commenting or directory submitting softwares ...in the end using these shortcut techniques always backfire ...
geester1: Comment Kahuna is not at fault nor you since you left a good comment. The trouble is that most bloggers don't know about SEO and saw it like spam anyway even with a good comment. Example: John (anchor) http://reallycheapredwidget.com(your URL) The blogger only saw the URL and "Askimetted" you. Using the software to find blogs is okay. Leaving a generic comments is not a good idea anyway. I delete them myself because they don't add to a post discussion. An_igma: If you want to make money online, yes, getting backlinks is very important. That's what get you paid. It's how you use the tools that will backfire most of the time on newbies.
I'm sorry to hear that. whether you are using software or not it's better to leave a comment related with the post, it's better also if you can share your opinion or other tips to develop the article. Not just "great post, like it, bookmark it etc"
You have to take the time to read the post and make a valued comment, pick something out of the post and ask a question, or disagree with a point.
Comment kahuna is a great software. But if you gonna leave comment like...."like your article", "good point", "great news"...or similar that might be a problem. You should read article and give relevant comment for that, in that cause you will not be marked like spammer
Does Comment Kahuna leave a footprint of any kind? If so that could have triggered a spam filter. You can use auto Commenting software to effectively find relevant blog to comment on, but from my personal experience it is best to visit the sites found with Comment Kahuna and post your comments manually.
Using automated Software is NOT the way to operate, try putting in some manual hard work and results will follow.
Yeah this is what I do too. I like to actually read the post and contribute. But I'm sorry this happened to you OP.
Might I suggest instead of software that you instead take a one hour a day approach to link building? It will add up and you won't get slapped by being greedy and flooding google with thousands of backlinks.
