i've been looking at the software Comment kahuna, Fast blog finder, and real link finder. To me fast blog finder seems the best but was wondering if anyone else had any info or experiences with any of these programs and full versions of them? Are they worth the money?

Thanks in advance for any reply

Yah, it's not always kept up to date of whether or not it's nofollow..... the time spent waiting for an answer, and then buying the one you want, and then using it, could all be spent to use google and yahoo to find dofollow blogs (What is dofollow?) in your niche.... it's very easy...

Also, there's certain search strings for google to help you find blogs that are related to you, that use great wordpress plugins to get you even more backlinks when commenting

    One such technique is this:
Why CommentLuv Will Expand Your Link Building Efforts

I tried Comment Kahuna, Fast Blog Finder, Real Link Finder as well as Ezyblogfinder.
My test results shows Fast Blog Finder the best as it show more relevant blogs with high PR pages.
The free version is rather limited though. I am also wondering if i should get the full version myself.
Meanwhile, i'll still try the good old google string method that Breakaway11 is recommending...

Spending unnecessary money is a no no for me :)

    cheers

The problem with a lot of the free search engines is that they don't clean their lists of blogs often enough. That's the reason why desktop software works better. It checks the dofollow status of each post on the fly so that you know you are getting a link back. Comment Kahuna is great for free software, but Fast Blog Finder has a free version with much more features, like get a comment count on the blog post, getting the PageRank of both the post and the domain, and the date of the last post. All important info. The only difference between the free and paid version is that you can find more than 50 posts per search with the paid version. Either one is a good deal and it's the software I'd recommend.

i tested comment kahuna and i hated it myself. it hardly finds any dofollow blogs and the ones it identifies as dofollow is actually nofollow most of the times. nothing but total waste of time

Don't mean to bump old threads here but I've been using these all myself and I should say:

Comment Kahuna is CRAP. Hands down. But Fast Blog finder is freaking awesome.

I tried the free version of Fast Blog Finder and it looks like it could be good. The problem I have is that the free version only seems to return blogs with nofollow links.

The full version is not particularly expensive so dont mind buying it but wondered if any one else had bought full version and are results better than free version particularly with regards dofollow links?

I installed the free version of fast blog finder and out of 50 results two were do follow. It is extremely easy to use, and the two it found I had not been able to find via using the google search and other online methods so I am intrigued but I also wonder how much better, if at all the $$$$ version is? Over half of the results were "unknown", I don't quite understand that as to why the software can't determine if the blog is do or no follow?

I took the plunge and bought the fast blog finder for $52.99. I don't like to buy what I can do for free like many of you. Money doesn't grow on trees like my mother often told me. For me, the money was worth it. the value is not whether I could do it myself because the answer is yes. The value is how much time do I save? The answer is a great deal. The paid version gives you, depending on the keyword, 3 to 15 times as many blogs. Of course most are NOT do follow but even so many of the blogs listed are sites I have never seen and would likely not have found despite that I have, like many of you scoured the search engines with many of the free methods recommended here and elsewhere. I have found at least 80-100 do follow blogs not found by search engine methods. the feature allow you to save the sites you went to, commented on, date commented on as well as quick see site pr, page pr, date last commented ....... I am able to type in the keywords, do other tasks, go back in 5-15 minutes and find up to 500 blogs. Very useful in terms of saving time! Hope this helps

I have tried Comment Kahuna and other solutions mentioned into this page and I was somehow disappointed, because none of these solutions could do a good distinction between dofollow and nofollow blogs. Except Fast Blog Finder, which seemed to be suitable. Therefore I have bought it (58.31$ including VAT), and I run it again into gold edition (fully-registered). It works harder (looks for more pages) than into unregistered edition and for example it was able to find 20 dofollow blog pages for a specified word (for the same word it found only 2 pages into unregistered version). I think it worth the money.
