OK, here's my dilemma. It seems as though every wordpress blog I comment on, after you post a comment I get the blank white page. This seems pretty cheesy. Is it just my computer blocking something? If not, is there a way to cure this?
I'm not sure what might be causing that. When you post a comment on a Wordpress blog it normally takes you back to the article you've commented on (exactly the same URL you were viewing when you wrote the comment, so it can't be being blocked). What browser are you using? Any firewall software running? After you post a comment Wordpress returns a Redirect to take you back to the article, so it's possible something isn't handling this properly or is deliberitely blocking it.
I am using Firefox as my browser and Nortons firewall. Not sure if either of these will cause the problem.
Well I know Firefox has no problems with Wordpress. Norton shouldn't be doing something silly like blocking Redirect's though. Might be worth disabling the firewall temporarily and posting and comment to see what happens, but I doubt that's where the problem is. Does your ISP do any transparent proxying of web access? It's possible their proxy server is broken and isn't handling redirect's properly, but then I wouldn't expect that to be terribly likely either...
