Commas in title tag? Does Google ignore these?

    Hi.
I'm pretty new to SEO. I've been doing some research online to see whether or not it matters to have a comma or “|” or “-” to separate the keyword in the title tag. I've found articles that have said that they do matter, then there are the articles that say that they are pretty much being ignored.

Does Google pay attention to commas, pipe bars or hyphens? Does it matter? Do any search engines pay attention to this or is it just a visually pleasing thing to separate keywords?

For me, it doesn't matter those characters are use to separate keywords.
