Command Line VPS - General Guides?

    Hi All,

I've got a command line VPS (running Ubuntu) which I'm using just to play around with and learn.

I'm trying to set up a couple of domain names on it.

I've installed LAMP, and I think I've correctly set up the DNS stuff under named, but I'm having some troubles. Apache, for example, responds when I connect to it using localhost on the VPS, but not via the IP or the domain name remotely.

Can anyone recommend any good guides to setting up DNS, and getting ftp, apache, etc, working under Ubuntu? I've been searching for general advice (googling errors as they appear, for example), but it's slow going so far, and I'm sure I've missed something important!

    Thanks

Research virtualhosts. You need to set it up so ttha apache responds to it.
