coming up first on google local business results

    how does one come up first on the Google local business result

    for example if one types in Los Angeles dentist,how come Google pick those 10. And how does it work?or is it just random? or is it based on how many reviews they have.

    I believe that post code can play an important role too. Do get some reviews though to help you along!

    try submitting to some of the local business directories. it can have a good result for local business. Also if your in L.A you have to remember that its a big ole city so you have to keep up on the competition

    that post doesn't explain anything, all it says is it matches the city which your local IP, but in a 1 mile radius there could be 100 dentists, but Google always come up with the same 10 people
