Comcast internet service provider is switching on May 10, 2010 from offering the free McAfee to a free version of Norton. Presumably, most people sacked Norton in the first place and "settled" for McAfee! Norton was/is a resource gobbling monster, but yesterday I decided I just can't take the bazillion daily intrusions for updates by McAfee that paralyze my PC for 20 minutes or more at a time. At least I can scratch 2 products off my list of virus protection services once and for all.
