Quick question from a php newbie....

Is there any problem having some html pages as well as some php pages within the same web site?

I dont think there would be but then again........

If anyone can shed some light that would be great

There should be absolutely no problem. You can even have HTML and PHP in the same file! ;)

It has no problem, but for making your life easier maintaining the code, there is usually a separation between PHP code n HTML file.

    That's all.

When switching from html to php.....

Other than chaning all file extensions and internal links, Is there anything else one should be aware of that may cause problems?

Im so close to making the switch however, Im a little put off as I dont know too much about it.

If your site is static, then just changing the extensions will have little to no effect on your site, other than perhaps breaking a few hyperlinks if you neglect to update them all.

In .php files, everythin in between <?php and ?> will be PHP. Everything else is HTML.
