I created a domain name that is SEO-Friendly to my product but is unfriendly from a marketing perspective. i.e. www.mufflersforoldfordcars.com , in this example I'm, obviously, trying to help myself rank for mufflers for old Ford cars. If I also created a domain name for general marketing (i.e. www.BobsStore.com), can I create a inbound link push for bobsstore.com and have a 301 Redirect for Bobsstore.com to go to www.mufflersforoldfordcars.com? Would this enable me to take advantage of PageRank of BobsStore.com (through all the inbound links) and have that PR go to mufflersforoldfordcars.com and, at the same time, use SEO-Friendly URL for that purpose. Would that work? Any downside? Was I clear? Thank you.
