I don't really know how to explain this but here goes.

If I have 1 domain with 5 blog on:

    domain.com/blog1
    domain.com/blog2 etc.

Is there a way I can pull the last post from each blog and put the article, or part of the article on domain.com with a link back to the full blog post?

Not sure what its called or if you would even use RSS.

If that is fairly simple, would it be possible to set rules, e.g. show the loast post if it was in the last week?

Thanks for look and any help is appreciated.

You could use http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/. With those pipes you can combine, sort, filter, .... many feeds into one. There are lots of examples and pipes from other users. Could be possible someone already made such a pipe :)

    Thanks for the reply nisi,
Could I then add this feed to a regular HTML based web page and still be in control of the other content?

You can define what kind of output you need. I'm using this service for generating my own feeds but as far as i know you could also get some kind of html output (called badge).
