I'll show you amazing combination of Anchor text and Keyword in domain that gave me 2nd position in google for a particular keyword. I've a web directory called www.search-dir.com On most forum I've a Anchor text present called SEO friendly Search Directory. So when typed in Google search 'Seo Friendly Dir' it gives me 3rd ranking in Google. MY directory is only 3 months old and I've no such keyword called 'SEO friendly Directory' in my index page. This is what I concluded and its not like a truth but pure assumption. Google took 2 keyword from my anchor text (SEO Friendly) and 1 keyword from my domain(dir). So I think this combination really worked. Also says how much importance google gives to Anchor text and Domain Keyword. Regards
