Hello everyone, I am looking for a review on a gaming website which I help run. The website is the number one pure FPS gaming website on the net, which is great! The owner and I have something planned which will hopefully be finished by Summer, and expand the website ALOT, but thats not right now, so disregard that. Basically I am looking for a couple of full reviews for the website to help improve it. Any constructive critisism, from the design, to the community, features or anything that could help improve will be greatly appreciated. We're on a very tight budget at the moment so can't spend loads of money on things, but we do have a great team of game reviewers, and website developers so we could get most things done ourselves. http://www.combatfps.com/
This is a pretty kick a s s site. I'm not sure what your looking for?!? Has a great presence and seems to have a great community. Love the graphics and the navigation. I'm not sure where to go to play....Maybe a direct link to sign up or a play now button...I'm just trying to find something....It's really pretty good.. We can't monetize it, which is where we're stuck. Without money, we can't get it a decent google ranking without spending loads of time. The Google Ads we have on the site aren't bringing in any money at all. Paradox, the owner has contacted two possible sponsors, AMD and Dell, hopefully if one of those sponsor us, we could go somewhere. Also, we run an in-game tournament once a week called our League, that we're developing special software for aswell. This hasn't set off yet because we still need to get the whole league script finished. Also, CombatFPS is not a game, it's a FPS Game Fansite.
Vinod, the coloring was apparently one of the best things in the design according to some of our members feedback. And we used SMF 2.0 RC2 (the latest version), there are so many unique theme, and script features. We hired "aED" to design the theme, although I'm redesigning it now.
