If you buy 3 or more domains through GoDaddy, you get privacy registration for free. I believe their .coms are just under $8 each with coupon.

As mentioned, some directories or other webmaster sites might offer coupons for a year or so but generally the cost will be around 8-10 bux /yr. At least from my research.

Just got another at netfirms for $4.99. Their customer service is pretty bad but how much do you need for domain registration?
i dumped netfirms, they required send a copy of cc and stuff, why bother if others do not..And customer support is slow, agree
