from your experience,what is the order for this domain extensions?which one is best,2nd and 3rd? How important is for seo?
.com is the best overall, due to is popularity. When someone wants to go to a design site they may type in www.design.com, but i seriouly doubt anyone would ever type in .org, or .net. I think they are both on the same level, and neither effect SEO.
Well mostly .com is the best but .net and .org can beat them too,,,,,,, and i have seen .net is much better. Regarding Backlinks: I would like to stress the fact many target for .edu and .org, still what u really need is relevant backlinks no matter it may be .net or .org. U must check first the quality of the links becz there are many .com sites which have bettter high quality backlinks than .org or .edu,,,,,,,, So go for relevant and high quality traffic backlinks,,,,,,,,, rather than stressing on .org or .net,,,,,
It's true, if our business is local and we want our business popular in local area so we give more important to local domain extension.
Actually it doesn't matter as to which extension is more important. I've seen some .net that ranks higher than .com in the same niche. It's how you carry out your SEO. Most people would say .com is the best but in actual fact, it's due to popularity and since it's the first to came out.
TLDs (.com, .net, etc.)have nothing to do with SEO. .com is best for direct traffic purposes because it's the easiest to remember.
this is a common question which has been asked many times. for seo, it doesn't matter. what matters is having your keyword in the domain. if you cant get your desired KW with .com, then get with with .net or .info. however, for branding, .com is always best as people seem to have a general idea of an URL having .com extention which they remember well.
There is no benefit one way or another for seo, but you should try to get the .com or a country specific domain for branding purposes. If your name ever gets well known people will be typing www.yourname.com not .net or .org as their first try in finding you.
My personal preference: .com is the best every time. .net is the second best. .org is only if you really have no other choice. and .info is good if you just want something cheap.
Domain extension should not effect any search engine positons, I find .com best for sure if anything from a client memory point of view. I know clients sites with .net or .info and even they get confused sometime and say there domain is ----.com not ----.net.
You may see some of the advantage in local search results for a country specific domain name like .co.uk/.co.in etc but for other domain names which you've mentioned, I hope google won't make any differentiation.
All the Domain is same as per Search engine. No Domain is important and no domain is less important. as per mattcutts google talking all domain same.
