.com Vs. .net

    I bet all of you remember Sex.com selling for a whopping $12 Million, To Escom, LLC, in 2006. I saw that Sex.net old for another whopping $454,500. Is the difference between .com domain name that differential to .com one.

    .com are the first thing you think of aren't they?

    Plus .net's are typically used for networks.
