.com vs .info

Hi, I have a question about .info domain names. Are they good? Can they be picked up into google and yahoo search engines? Because I searched google and yahoo for websites but I do not see any hits that are .info domain name websites.

Also, just for curiousity's sake, can we sell our domain names we obtained from hostbidder?

Thanks for your answers in advance.

.info is good for the price. I am not too sure if SEs like or dislike .info domains.

Humm... it depends on the domain name itself.

If you have a premium domain name in info TLD then it is a good investment.

If the extension suits the site, lots of development potential.

I personally prefer .info nowadays. Since they do not have any differences in SE rankings :)

Domains are not good or bad due to their extension but the content and development.

Of course a no-sense info name has a few chances to succeed in comparison with other pronounceable.

People have a tendency to associate .com with domain names. So if the .com was available it would be my first choice.

If it was not then I would go with .net, .org or .info, depending on the subject matter of the site.

.info is good domain to develop. It is a keyword itself. If .com, .net is not available.. I go for .info domain.

That is very true at the point that some online forms will not allow you to introduce your email with extensions other than com, net and org.

Problem with INFOs is the free promotion ran in 2004 that associated them with spam sites because almost anyone got those domains to upload worthless content, tons of ads farms, or profit from parking.

Dot come any old day. You might actually want both but if you buy only one go with the dot come.
