.com VS .ca Ranking

    What causes a site to rank well on say, Google.com and Yahoo.com but not on Google.ca and Yahoo.ca?

    Also, what can one do to ensure high rankins on all?

    Domainicm :p :p. Really don't knw, but I'll make a guess and say it's more expensive and .ca is kind of local. Just guesing :D.

    With what i saw in my site, I think its usually the .ca part. And, also how many .ca sites link to yours, and how many sites hosted on Canadian servers link to yours.

    Also try to get listed on some Canadian directories.

    EDIT: also where your server's hosted

    Well search engines rank on relevance. So if your a .ca your more then likely more relevant to a canadian search query.
