Is your keyword such that type in traffic counts ? If it doesn't count so much, the net is not a problem, especially as from the SEO point of view, there woudn't be any difference in the way you would optimise them

Most of us use .com by default, and always hope the .com is availible.

However when browsing a site or buying from a site, most of use give .coms and .nets the same about of credit, and no not think less because the extension is not a .com.

The thing is, if someone doesn't remember the .net the .com user would most likely get your traffic. But it shouldn't be any problem anyway, I've ran a few .net sites and I think they managed pretty well :)

I'm a .net fan too adiboy lol.

.com is 1st choice but .net would be my second, its probably the 2nd most used. So ya if you really really want that domain name and can't get a .com thats close to it, just go with .net

well, the .com solutions isn't always great, I personally prefer to use .net but someone times .com sites get listed faster and sounds more pro but .net make the domain sound better in a certain way/

I was just looking for a .com for my business, but it was taken so I went for the .net because it has my business name in it. I can market it the same way, so I am not worried at all. Go with whatever has your keywords in it or name that you really want either .com or .net!

.com is better. More of the big sites use it. Myspace, Photobucket, Godaddy, ect.

Seriously .com all the way, .nets are "ok", but most non-net dummies will automaticlly use .com

.com is the king of domains.

I think that .net will be the queen , because .com are all taken.
