    rightly said, don't waste your domains, redirect to .com and use the other one on some diff. platform

    .com is usually for a site, you could redirect .net to .com

    If you do a 301 redirect, you won't lose links or PR. I don't know why people in this thread keep saying that.

    As per my SEO experience, if you have good domain age on your .net domain then just stick with that for now. Redirection to .com will be better if both are having almost same domain age. Yeah I agree, .com is preferable then .net but not at the question of keywords rankings, if you have already. So simply if you have already good traffic and top rankings with .net then don't play with redirection thing now and launch a different for .com having unique content there...
    Yes, if .net is not doing good already and not giving any favor then you should switch to .com as it is just a start. ..

    Well, .com already has PR of 4, so using that now.
    Redirecting Songr.net and org to .com; .mobi to i.songr.com; and .info to songr.com/faq
