- & .com or just .net

The domain I really wanted just got scooped up. Grrr.... Now hear is the question do I go with
keyword-service.com
or
keywordservice.net (since the .com is taken)

The service is freelancing but im just doing "lance" unless anybody could come up with a market type lowesst bidder winning word besides lance.

 

Ok in exchange for lance maybe maybe commons or market.

It will be a freelance site target to a certain niche. Kind of like keywordcommons.com

What do you guys think?

 

I think it's really difficult to say without being a bit more specific. Try www.nameboy.com - maybe get some ideas you never thought of before.

 

i would say:
go for both. Domains are cheap lately. Why dont get both? In case u regret in future

 

Now-a-days the "-" is almost a must. All the good .com are all but gone.

 

I second it ... if you can't get the one you want, get the others or find something you like more.

 

In my opinion the dash might be better if the words need to be kept visually separate to make them more memorable.

Anyway I can't see the .net domain that bad, of course .com is better, but .ws is worse (in fact, .W(or)S(e) )

But, as advised, I would get both and redirect one or maybe differentiate the pages, for language or whatever, but I would stick to 1 of those two and not look elsewhere, the first ones (well, the second and the third one in this case) are always the better ones.

 

I thrid the idea of grabbing both the .com and .net and then you can still keep thinking if there are any others you might want.
