Hello, Just looking for opinions. Im about to create roughly 50 microsites and I am wondering if anyone has any experience using .info TLD's vs .com. Are they truly the same or have you had a harder time getting a .info on the front page of google? Obviously the reason I am asking is the price difference. 50 .info's for $40 or 50 .com's for $500. The .info would allow me to produce many more websites. Im just looking for search engine traffic, not repeat visitors so im impartial to either. Any opinions appreciated! Cheers
They say URL and extentionds doesnt mean anything but my research and experience will ask you to go with .com that means to cover up something globally and it has phenomenon records at SERP's. It could take more labor to work with .info though.
From what I've read the .info domains rank about the same. I believe a more important thing is how long you register the domain for. 5 years and opposed to 1 year helps out on google (it's in their patent). On another note though I've had a hard time getting .info indexed quickly.
I think .info is good if you're creating "set and forget" microsites. Just focus on SEO and you will get in firstpage of google.
