.com or .info or .biz or other better for commercial business

    Is there any advantage or disadvantage using a .info or .biz or any other type of .XXX in comparison to a classical .com website when you want to run
    a commercial website to sell ?

    The .com ones will usually have a higher value.

    When it comes to SEO, it doesn't really have an effect. It's just people are more used to site with .com domains. :D

    sorry, I was unclear, I don't want to sell my site , just have a commercial website, if there is no disadvantage for SEO, being perceived as professional,etc.... in using a non- ".com" site , I would have a bigger choice of names...

    Many people look at sites like .info and other second level domains as junk. If a company wants to appear to be reputable, it seems that .com and .net, is the way to go. TLDs (top level domains) are going to attract a larger mainline audience.
