    The domain names are registered on yearly basis.For .com domain, you will have to spend atleast $8/year.

    hey, you can buy a domain for $7 at godaddy.com if u use a voucher, u can go to the voucher forum on dp to find a good voucher

    if the name is available then u can reg in any reputed domain registrars like name.com , namecheap , godaddy etc

    if it is regged already then probably u need to contact the domain owner with some good offer

    renew it per year,not per month.

    There are reports that godaddy are charging people for supplying invalid whois info. Even when the whois info is totally correct. These are anonymous reports on forums so may or may not be true.

    I totally recommend namecheap for domain registration. Excellent company where everything just works on the site. Support are good if you need them (I thied their hosting too which didn't work out for me).

    Well yes they do take steps if they think whois is wrong which is pretty lame as none of the other registrar even care abt this but who cares just use another competitor
