according to godaddy ? nevermind gotcha-introductory price of 2 USD or so.

So the business model now is catch the fish with the 2 usd /year bait and then give it to them at 14 USD .

5 - 7 Years ago domains cost 4 usd. What is that 30 Percent inflation per year ? Wasn't inflation like 2% or so according to the central bank ? Lies.

And all these new TLD's are being sold on-bait offers at 2-3 USD / year and then your renewal could be at the 40 USD or so.

Whoever is overseeing these registrar companies has fallen victim to the banksters, selling out the Internet making it look like a cheap bargaining bazar.

Domains did not cost $4 5-7 years ago.

What Yahoo used to do is sell domains for $1.99 then the rebill for the second year was $35. That was extreme.

What if you registered at GD for one year for $2 then transferred it out after 60 days?

There is no free lunch and you get what you pay for. If you want a domain, you can get one for $11.xx at Namecheap, and you can save a dollar something for the first year only.
