    Yes. Or more precisely that I don't trust them NOT to see them as different.

    Here's one example of where Google had a problem:

    I can appreciate that. :)

    With that said and "queries" aside, I'm not of the opinion that SE spiders see www.site.com and www.site.com/ as individual and unique URLs.
