.com and .us difference

    Hi there,

    Does the .us domains are equally important as .com domains according to the search engines.

    Or the search engines first pick domains with .com in the search results or pick in the following sequence

    .com
    .net
    .org
    .info
    .us
    etc

    I will be really thankful for any help in this regards.

    There is no discrimination based upon that. They don't care what the ending of your domain is. It is all about content :)

    There is no difference for SE's, the only difference is made by users
    .com are most popular the anyone alse, user types .com directly in address bar as its natural. From here .com gets more popularity and traffic.

    I would suggest you to start with .com:D
