Hey guys, I am starting a new website, I am planning on going for a similar domain like this: "thatvshow.tv" because "thatvshow.com" is taken. The kind of website i am starting also has to do completely with a television show which is why I don't really mind registering the .tv even though the .com version of my domain is already registered and is pretty similar to what I will be starting. This is going to be the second .tv domain that i buy, I am just wondering if they rank good on search engines, Are they just like a .com domain , but maybe better because the domain ends with .tv and my website is a tv show website..? Your subject is tv right? Your tld should be .tv Try to find ONE WORD dot Tv to do your job. There are plenty of them available at 10 bucks regfee. Dont go on somethingtv.com, pick something.tv They rank very good on search engines, i can say regarding video content they are equal or even better than .com. Google treat this extension like a gTLD. Good luck
Domain with .TV help to describe what your content will be to the reader and traffic but not Google. Google will take it the same no matter .TV or .com. It wont influence in serp.
